Photographer's Note
Another image from the past Sunday, when we had a long and big lunch in a restaurant in the middle of the Parco del Ticino.
In the mid afternoon, we went by car at not more than 3 km east, but in another one park, the Parco Sud Milano, that shared the bordeline with the other one for many miles.
We were in Fallavecchia, a small protected Corte Lombarda, the typicall farm-city of Lombardia of the early Mid Age.
Fallavechia is one of the fews that not only is completelt preserved but is still full of population and still today lives as 1200 years ago.
All that villages have a perfect square shape, with defensive walls formed by the houses that were built on the 4 sides; in the middle often there are the main square, and the main buildings and the Municipality.
Inside there's the church, the school, the market, some shops, the farm with cows and porks, the little restaurants, the bar, the little theatre...full indipendent.
That's the sunset view from the western gate of the village, the ones that look to the Ticino River and the Piedmont.

The "fire compo" hanging over the silhouetted ground, the three trees, and the starry deep blue sky at the real background make a superb evening shot. Those three trees and three stars! I love them!

Very nice mood rendered with the autumnal light in this one, Paolo. A fine luminosity in the orange and red tones, good choice with the low-placed horizon and an apt cropping to more of a panoramic format. Simple, but pleasant and soothing result.

What a beautiful one - an excellent Paoloade!! The colours and the sweeping curve is really attractive, and we even see some stars. The delicate trees add a nice touch along with the horizon line.
