Photographer's Note
Still inside the Morimondo Abbey, with a stitch of 2 images looking inside the cloister.
The Abbey was built in the 1134, but the cloister was built just in the middle of XVI Century, and the palace on the backside in the beginnings of the XVIII Century.
From the cloister there's the main door to enter in the Sala Capitolare, one of the first exemple of First Gothic style of the whole Europe.
The Sala Capitolare was a sort of HQ of the Abbot.
One of the most important Abbot of Morimondo was Giovanni de' Medici, then Pope Leo X (He is known primarily for his papal bull against Martin Luther and subsequent failure to stem the Protestant Reformation, which began during his reign when Martin Luther (1483–1546) published the 95 Theses and nailed them to the door of the Castle Church in Wittenberg).
In this other image a view of the cloister from the top of the lateral building.

I like the 'v' notch pov, & superb colour & sharpness. Good choice of a horizontal format. The person at right in the bg adds scale. Bellisimo!

Ciao Paolo, I like this double perspective of the cloister with a man in one of the corridors. Good to squeeze the shot between two thick black frames, but I think the vertical white frame on the left and on the right weren't neccessary...
Cheers

Whilst I love your today's post of the gull, I couldn't resist this ones of all the arches and vaulted ceilings. The double perspective works very well. It was an original idea to stitch the two together. I also like the Sala Capitolare in the WS and think it could have been a main post on another day. Good idea too to include the aerial view to give us a good idea of the cloisters as a whole. Great total package.

Ciao Paolo,
Dspite the small overexposed area in the middle right this perspective effect you get here is fantastic thanks to the many succeeding arches and the depth, the person with a red pull on the right is a bonus.
Have a nice day,
Jean-Yves

Hi Paolo,
Very effective imagery with this great stitch. I like the way the smooth velvety sward of grass in the middle divides the frame, as well as the slightly differing hues and tones of the respective ceilings. Personally I would have preferred even framing between top and bottom, but that is minor. A most artistic presentation.

Ciao Paolo,
I like the different colors here represented with different lightings. The red figure adds a lot to one of the plainest cloisters i've ever seen...

Greetings Paolo! This one really caught my eye, the panorama format and frame work perfectly together. Very nice job with the exposure to keep the highlights and shadowed balanced in a difficult scene. Details are very clear.
Very well done!

Hi Paolo, good double perspective, i wonder if this one is the result of a stitch of two shots or if you used a wide angle ..
I love your dark framing just in horizontal part, that brings more impact on this shot.
Good !
