Photographer's Note
That'a the Morimondo Abbey, the central point, the square with the grass, the main street, the heart of Morimondo village from more than 9 centuries.
As in the past the large square with gardens in front of the Abbey is still today the place where all the 1.100 local people spent the days.
Old ones are sitted at the bar to playing cards and drinking white wine, children play on the grass, mothers talks sitted on the benchs, and the few tourists after the Abbey tour, take relax on the grass.

that was a sharp comp, the diagonal that goes from down left to upper Right makes a bit worried (swap the picture and you see what I mean) but overall I like the image.

This is a huge building! The large structure is quite prominent in the image and add a nice diagonal line. Good combination of colours and good sharpness. Thanks for sharing.

Is this the same abbey as your interior shot? It looks a lot plainer on the outside than the inside. Your WS photos give us a good idea of the surroundings and reading your note too makes us want to be there relaxing. The diagonals from the perspective lines works well. Interesting that all the people are in the shade.
