Another one image took at the open-air photos show of Olivier and Danielle Fφllmi.
This open air exhibition will take place from 16 September to 24 December in the streets of Milan.
Conceived to acclaim the riches of world cultures and show how much they are intertwined and know no barriers, Wisdoms of Mankind associates the images of one of the best known contemporary photographers, Olivier Fφllmi, with quotations chosen with great sensibility by Danielle Pons-Fφllmi, researcher in human science. The project brings together thoughts from great world thinkers and extracts from the cultural heritage of different peoples that have been transmitted orally. Each of the inspirational and generous texts respond to fundamental questions giving a sense about life, family, children, our society and our future. Each year Wisdoms of Mankind visits a new culture to uncover its thoughts as a source of inspiration to the spirituality of the human race, associating texts and photographs to promote this heritage. The streets of Milan will play hosts to this magnificent project, presenting thoughts from India, the Himalayas and Africa with an exhibition of impressive photos (120 x 180 cms).

On the backside there is the highest tower of the Castle Sforzesco, called Torre del Filarete.
It was rebuilt between the 1893-1904, by the architect Luca Beltrami, and it's high 70 meters.
The original one was completely destroy the night of the 28 June 1521. The Tower at that time was used as explosives warehouse. More than 350 people died.

a thinking photo. Good division of your frame, and both sides really tie in to each other but present the same theme in a different way. This is what I really like, something underneath the photo.

ciao paolo, nice one, but also the one that requires a thumbnail opening, otherwise it looks as if it were a stitch!

Excellent double picture, Paolo, you clicked at the right moment. Very strong difference between the two images, one so big and bright and warm colors, and the other one, so much to see and so dark, and almost cold.
Very well seen, I have seen the Buddha as well, and it took a long time before I made out what I saw, that is without reading your note.
