Photographer's Note
Probably it would be more appropriate to post this picture on TrekLens, probably not. No post processing here (only resized and increased saturation) If the purpose of TE is also to improve our tecnique with the examples and the explanations of other members, then this photo can stay also here.
IN this case I used the "ghost tecnique": manual exposure; 15 seconds of exposure; remote control comand. After 7 or 8 seconds I told my friends to leave the scene. And this is the final result. Obviously there are a lot of combination (change the position without going away etc).
P.S. Time ago I and my friends enjoyed our time in a different way but now we are too old and we prefer to relax on a bench during the night :-))))

A really strange photo - I would never have thought to use that technique. Milan at night is a little spooky!

Hi Gae La
Nice shot .... I have also taken some shots like these ... but I did'nt knew it was called a ghost technique ... Did you coin this word, or is it widely accepted in photography circles?
Another thing I do with shots like these is that if you make only 1-2 people walk away instead of the whole bunch ... it gives a feeling that these people were sitting with some ghosts or something
Cheers

This is nice Gae. I'm still trying to figure out why they look as if they are floating in the air. Perhaps too much Valpolicella that night? Anyway, even though this is not really an example of a great classical composition, I find it interesting. Perhaps if each one of your friends had a different movement, it would be even stranger and more interesting.

Ciao Gae, esperimento interessante e originale!

Nice trick, and yes a lot of combination can work. Years from now you can look at your friends as ‘Ghost from the past’. Good work
