Rock settlement of Montecasoli - Bomarzo (VT)
The Montecasoli plateau (also called Poggio Lungo), located about one kilometer north-west of Bomarzo, consists of a tuffaceous cliff that extends for more than one and a half kilometer in the NE-SW direction, with a height varying between 160 and 180 m asl, it is bordered by two deep "gorges", the first located to the north where the Vezza stream flows and the other to the south with the ditch of Monte Casoli or Sodera, both gorges converge at the eastern summit of the hill. The site can be reached along a country road that starts right from the famous “Parco dei Mostri”. Hello Silvio,
Someone coming here would need good eyes and prior knowledge to realize this as a human settlement. The knowledge we get from you makes it another fascinating view. For the photo as such the yellow moss and the fine light are great benefits.
Best regards,
Gert

Hi Silvio,
La vιgιtation cadre bien la scθne. La prise de vue permet de voir les dιtails du village rocheux de Montecasoli. La lumiθre rehausse les couleurs de l'image. Bonne journιe.

Very photogenic rock formation. I like in particular the orange tones on the rocks.
Great weather day which helped to better pronounce to colors.

Hi Silvio
Some mysterious rock formation and how these were carved in that I cant imagine just how life was then. There's some bright colour there uplifting this capture adding that extra interest. Well done, and tx to your narratives.

Hello Silvio.
Just arrived from my vacation trip, I'm back in the pages of TE.
A magnificent composition, with this view that shows us this soft rock formation with this kind of cavities due to erosion, good textures and colors in the rock.
Great detail in this image, wonderful colors, gorgeous light, and excellent clarity.
Very well done, my friend. I like.
Have a good week.
