A spectacular view from the lookout, with the neatly manicured farmland in the distance. Good sharpness and the blue hazy mountains provide a nice backdrop. Tfs!

I'm reading the news of Serghei's death. Although I missed 6 years on this forum, I remember it from the days before. I remember taking good photos and being an active member of the community. RIP.

We have been in Tuscany for 2 years on a multi-day tour, mostly to see the architectural sights. (Last year was completely missed due to COVID, except for Rhodes, we were able to come here and stay here for 2.5 months.)

Returning to Tuscany:
We have visited Italy many times in the last 35 years, one of our dear countries. On my last trip to Florence, Pisa, Siena, Assisi, San Gimiano was a great disappointment, these places were practically full of tourists. They were mostly Chinese en masse, and ... well, you have to get used to this other culture. (In Florence, on the Duomo Square, in the square in front of the Town Hall, it was practically impossible to get away from the crowd.)
Orvieto, Peruggia, Montepulciano, Lucca, on the other hand, were less saturated and there it was a pleasure to watch.

Well, but the bottom line is: Yes, this is rural Tuscany. Beautiful as always, Beautiful landscapes, excellent food, and wines. And architecture ... history itself.
Your photo is interesting because it was taken when the Mediterranean sky wasn’t just shining and the deep green vegetation was fresher. However, you found a very good point of view, true here, not difficult.

It's a beautiful scenery and it seems to radiate a kind of peace and serenity that honours the memory of our friend Serghei.
Thank you for your comments on my photo. Last year cash was used for only 9% of payments in Sweden. It is estimated that the entire Nordic region may be cash-less within 10 years, unless there are political decisions to keep cash circulating for security reasons.

a sad note about the death of Serghei. one of many friends we lost because covid, each one have many people around who was lost in these sad times. I hope we will can cross the nightmare safe.

Per prima cosa voglio ringraziarti per il tuo aiuto con la mia ultima foto di farfalle. Sto ricevendo alcuni libri sulle farfalle brasiliane, ma trovo ancora difficile classificarle correttamente. Spero di avere il vostro aiuto e ci sono poche foto che ho. La Toscana θ meravigliosa e somiglia molto ai campi a sud del Minas Gerais, che potrebbero essere sfruttati meglio. Amo questo tipo di paesaggio con questa vista ampia e bella. Bella foto amico mio e un bel omaggio al caro Serghei.

Niente come la Toscana italiana. Questo θ un luogo spesso ritratto nei film e nella mente delle persone quando pensano di fare un tour delle migliori cantine del mondo. Se dovessi mai visitare di nuovo l'Italia, voglio trascorrere qualche giorno per conoscere piω in dettaglio le piccole cittΰ di questa regione. La foto era molto buona, con un ottimo sole e una buona luminositΰ e nitidezza.
