Chapel of the Assumption
Built in the sixteenth century by the will of Bishop Francesco Eroli. It is adjacent to the Eroli Chapel, from which one currently enters through an opening created in 1931.
Until that date, access was from the square and the rooms were not communicating. The walls are entirely frescoed by two different masters not yet identified with absolute certainty.
The vault was decorated with characters and scenes from the Old Testament probably by Giovanni da Spoleto. Jacopo Siculo, on the other hand, is credited with the paintings that adorn the altar where in the center we find the representation of the Assumption.
