Photographer's Note
David is a masterpiece of Renaissance sculpture created between 1501 to 1504, by the Italian artist Michelangelo.
It was extremely hard to take that picture in the Academia Gallery, where the sculpture is located.

Hi Maggie,
I will call you Maggie, it is easier for me to spell :) otherwise I would misspell your name.
It has never occur to me to take a close up study of David’s hand or any part of his body, and why should we, his whole statue is a work of art full of masterful details. It is a great idea. I was here over ten years ago. I would love to go back and I would take a close up of his hands and body parts this time around :)
Great choice to go black and white here. Classic and tasteful, there is not much color to it anyway.
It looks like he scratching his thigh, okay not so tasteful of me to say that but funny. Anyway, good shot and thanks. Have a good weekend.

Hello Malgorzata,
a beautiful detailed shot of this well known statue - an unusual POV. The sharpness is good, although the light must have been difficult.
