I was attracted by this charming person lost in his thoughts over the Grand Canal.
The Ca d'Oro is considered with the Palace of the Doges as the most beautiful Venetian palaces.
One of the most famous Gothic buildings in Venice.
The windows in finely chiselled warhead, the pinnacles, full details of the ornament betray the influence of oriental art.
It takes its name gold adorning its facade once white walls (overseas, vermillion).

Hi Pierre,
despite Venezia is a over-exolorated theme, this city always will be a great inspiration for many artists.
For this picture - very good composition with this repeated columns and of course - the essential human presens.

Well managed light and rare moment of loneliness in public space in Venice :)
I like your point of view, looking at the city from inside. There are very few typical details here, but they are still strong and recognizable enough to know what city this is.
