Hello Pierre,
This looks like a charming corner of Venice, and the building is very attractive in spite of the faded paint. But I am surprised that you have chosen a photo with two disturbing heads in the foreground. Another photo from the same place, after the girls had left, would have been better. Or you should have cropped this to show us only the upper floors, which are the nicest anyway.

Of course make a picture out of a gondola are always people before the lens.
I find the iron balconies a nice decoration, in the faηade.

Bonjour Pierre,
J'ai lu votre explication selon laquelle la photo avait ιtι prise dans une gondole. Cela rend les choses trθs difficiles en effet.
Mais vous aviez un il pour une trθs belle faηade.
Pas un palais connu mais d'une grande beautι.
Les fenκtres du premier ιtage sont magnifiques.
Un joli dιtail est l'ombre du balcon au deuxiθme ιtage.

Luckily the girls heads are in shadow and the eye is naturally drawn to the top in sunlight. In a city like Venice, it is important to try and include the water for context, which you have done. Tfs!

Interesting buildings, maybe palaces with the attractive windows and nice balconies. The light is also nice. But like Gert, I find the big black head spoiling the effect. Why you haven't cut it off?

Hello PIerre,
You have grabbed a really good photograph of the building, which shows excellent details of the windows, the balconies and you have even managed to get a fine, shadow pattern.
I was surprised that you had left these heads in the picture but after reading your note to Gert, understand their presence. Maybe, it would have been better to crop them.
