Photographer's Note
Jazz attracts me very much and to see the musical virtuosity of the artists that buνlt the line-up of the Umbria Jazz Festival was very nice. This musician, John Firmin of the "Johnny Nocturne Band", has touched me very much with his harmonies between smooth and blues.
......If you can immagine the sound of the sax when watching this photo I was really able to transmit something.

Il jazz mi affascina molto e vedere i virtuosismi musicali degli artisti che si sono susseguiti ad Umbria Jazz θ stato molto bello. Questo musicista, John Firmin della "Johnny Nocturne Band" mi ha colpito molto con le sue armonie che spaziavano dallo smooth al blues.
Se puoi immaginare la melodia del sax guardando questa foto, vuol dire che sono riuscito nell'intento di trasmettere qualcosa.

navigando su TE e ascoltando Miles Davis (Kind of Blue), mi sono imbattuto in questo bel B&N: non posso non commentare.

come no sembra di sentire Coltrane in my favorite thinghs.
Pensa che fina anni 70 frequentavamo spesso umbria Jazz, ho molti scatti anche di Miles Davis, ma purtroppo nei vari traslochi non so' piu' dove sono .....spero un giorno di ritrovarli e digitalizzarli...

Bella anche questa Freddy, la versione B/N come al solito per il jazz funziona molto bene, complimenti, un solo appunto, avrei preferito lo sfondo sfocato, avrebbe tolto elemti di distrazione e dato piω importanza al musicista.

You've captured a great jazz portrait; black and white is very effective here leaving us to focus on the fine detail of the portrait. I collect jazz portraints, I hope you don'y mind my collecting yours.
