An excellent close-up photo of this butterfly sitting on and eating of the pieces of fruit. The patterns of its wings are beautiful and clearly captured.

What a fantastic place for trying your skills at macrophotography. You did very well here, not only with getting such perfect sharpness on the butterfly, but also with using the colourful food in the composition. It's a bright and very interesting photo.

Ciao Mauro,un grande regalo per me e Silvio,ma al contempo una coltellata al cuore. Odio questi posti dove allevano le crisalidi sottratte ad ambienti naturali tropicali per farle sfarfallare in serre dove le farfalle hanno vita breve. Forse qui sono un po' organizzati,sono rimasto scioccato di aver visto la casa delle farfalle di Cracovia,un appartamento al primo piano di un palazzo dove ho visto bambini divertirsi a strappare le ali...no comment.Comunque complimenti per la qualita' fotografica,aspetto qualche farfalla tipica della tua regione..eheh..buona giornata,Luciano

You may be photographing the butterfly but don't you feel that the butterfly is watching you, with that big, imitation eye stating out!
What a super close-up, though!
The details of the butterfly are pin sharp against a useful oof b/g.

Keep eating my friend.......
Seems he's quite hungry as he has eaten half the fruit he is sitting on! But then greens are better for you! The detail is spot on and the grapefruit provides a vibrant contrast. An eye-catching and frame filling image with minute detail of the butterfly's wing adding that extra oomph, interest and a story to the scene. Excellent macro work, Congrats

Nous sommes tous les deux dans des papillons aujourd'hui. Il fut un temps oω cela ne fonctionnait pas dans ces pages. Les oranges sont trθs attirantes pour cette sorte de papillon.
