Il villaggio Conti Vecchi era arrivato a ospitare le famiglie di cinquecento dipendenti delle omonime saline Conti Vecchi, quelle della zona Macchiareddu di Cagliari, attive dal 1930 e ancora oggi in funzione. Fondato negli anni 30, spopolato a partire dagli anni 60 e distrutto nel 1988, oggi del villaggio restano poche tracce.

nice the view of the place with the old mansion and its storeroom to dominating in the frame.The whole place looks like to be abandon with the trees on the right and the untended place around the constructions to enhance the idea about it.

The yellow-weed senecio flowers decorating the abandoned village scene, Gianfranco.
Picture superbly taken from the chosen perspective, with the backlight gave enhanced blue tone on the sky, and contrast the shadowed foregrounds.
