Photographer's Note
A view of yesterday afternoon, driving in the Parco del Ticino, a large Regional Park on the Western side of Milan, comin' back home after a long long lunch in a wonderful restaurant in a middle of the nature...and the nothing all around.
This are the autumnal colours of lower Lombardy in this days, just tones of brown and when we are happy with a beautiful sky...really often the sky is part of the brown world!
Anyway yesterday was a beautiful day, sunny and not cold, with 12-13° at noon, without cold wind.
We had a great lunch, with typicall Milanese and Lombardia dishes.
that's the Menω....
HORSE d'OEUVRE
Sanguinaccio (a deep cooked sausage of offals and blood of pork) and Cotechino (deep cooked sausage of meat and skin of pork) with sausage of beans and lentils
Timballo di Riso e Grana (small slices of rice cooked with Grana Padana cheese)
Vol-au-vent of Gorgonzola and Mandorle (mall hollow case of puff pastry with a Milan Blue Cheese and almonds)
Polpette di Taleggio (balls of another Milan cheese)
Coppa, Salame e Pancetta (mix of local ham)
Salame di Testina con salsa verde (salami made with the head of the pork with a typicall spicy green sauce)
Torta di zucca con pinoli (typicall cake of pumpkin and pine nuts)
....thats were the Hors d'uvre
PRIMI PIATTI (RICE AND PASTA DISHESE)
Risotto con insalata di Chioggia e fontina (Risotto with cheese and Chioggia Red Salad)
Pizzoccheri (type of tagliatelle, made with buckwheat flour, cooked along with Swiss Chard and cubed potatoes. This mixture is layered with pieces of bitto cheese and dressed with garlic and sage that are lightly fried in butter together)
SECONDI PIATTI (MEAT DISHES)
Stracotto al vino rosso (Meat cooked for hours and hours in red wine with local spices and onions)
Anatra al forno con Chiodini (Duck at the oven with Armillaria Mellea Mushorooms)
Polenta
DESSERT
Torta Sbrisolona con cioccolato fuso (typicall cake of Lombardy with hot chocolate)
Meringa con cioccolato amaro fuso (Meringue with deep bitter hot chocolate)
CAFFE' & AMMAZZACAFFE' (coffee and kill coffee)
Caffθ, grappe e amari.
A big headeche and some gastriti are incluse...

Italy?:)) Looking at the shot with the row of trees I thought it's Flanders...:) Great light, I'd maybe turn the camera a bit to the right to have this "corridor" more to the edge of the frame...
Cheers

Hi Paolo,
Aptly titled ... this is a superb composition. The combination of warm lighting, lateral lines from the trees, and the 'leading line' created by the road is just a fantastic combination. Well captured ... excellent work! tfs

Good way to make this typical setting along the road with the trees in their naked exposure this time of the year Paolo.
The lunch menu .. uhmm... simply top I guess.

Allora,

Hello paolo,
Almost a picture out of Flanders Belgium with these high trees.
Splendid with the low sun between the branches, great perspective and depth through the long way between the trees, very well done. Thanks for sharing.
Have a nice week,
John.

Hello Paolo. The photo pleases me (and my wife also). The graphic organization of the photo convinces. The blue sky and the evening light complement each other very well. A worth seeing picture. Best regards, Wolfgang.

Hello Paolo,
The row of sturdy trees along the lead-in road, the evidence of fall's last hurrah, and the blue sky all make this photo so pleasing to view. Best regards, Danilo

If the asphalt would be water in a canal this would be a typical"Lukie"image.
It must have been nice driving this road with this wonderful warm light.
A great shot with amazing depth, wonderful warm tones ,taken from a great POV.
Thanks for stopping there and taking this nice shot.

Hi Paolo,
I really like this shot - the late evening golden colors are stunning and are nicely offset by the darker shadows along the path. Good contrasts and a very good image perspective. Fine work and TFS. Gerald

Hi Paolo,
I love the perspective of the road leading us in and the tall trees lining it are great. Beautiful light and I also like the other tight rows of trees in the background. A lovely image.

Bella foto, ben composta, colori potenti, contrasto pertinente.
