I have to admt that i've never heard of this city in italy before.
One could only imagine how this gate and a surrounding wall would have looked in real time. Interesting to see it now, and it still looks large and imposing.

A majestic gate taken from a good POV... The cloudless sky is fantastic, as all skies should be in the summer! This year we are having an especially wet summer and I am tired of seeing white skies every day.
