Photographer's Note
Errigal Mountain or Errigal (An Earagail/tEaragail in Irish) situated in Gweedore, Donegal, is the tallest peak of the Derryveagh Mountains in the Northwest of Ireland with a height of 749 metres. Errigal is also the most southern, steepest and highest of the mountain chain, called the 'Seven Sisters' by locals.

Hi Gary,
You like deep saturated colours with heavy contrast. Well, you have my blessing on that apparoch. Especially in landscapes the colours can't be strong enough and as you present it here in rich and deep tones is simply wonderful. Great tools and a great eye make the final picture...very good work.

This is a very impressive sunset with fantastic reflections! Great POV and composition. It looks so calm and peaceful. I would love to return to Ireland with my digital camera and capture scenes such as this. TFS

What a view! and What a photo! You got the right moment in the right manner.
Many features contribute to make it a masterpiece: The gorgious sky, the reflections in the lake, buta also the good chosen POV which give a best preminence to the water leaving the mountain in the background. Absolutely perfect.

Hi Gary,
By definition one should normally embrace everything that Henk Meijer says hahaha... But in this case... ;-) Well, I do feel that the almost pink in the clouds in the sky is just a bit too much for me. In the reflection very nice, but in the sky I'd have loved to see them more towards the orange/red tones. The pinkish glow doesn't do it for me...
Oh oh, eternal damnation will be my faith now that I disagreed with Henk...
But I dσ love the point of view giving an immense depth in your composition!

This is a gorgeous scene and one that could hang on any wall. the bit of light on the mountain top was well seen and captured. My only comment would be to clone out that light coloured rock at the bottom.
