Slieve League with over shadowing cloud.
The (Grey Mountain) cliffs, situated on the West coast of Donegal, are said to be the highest and one of the finest marine cliffs in Europe with a three hundred metre drop straight down into the wild, Atlantic waves below. This creates a breathtaking but extremely scary view.

I think you was lucky to be in the right side of the gulf. You are lightened by a brilliant sun that make greener the grass and bluer the water. On the other side the heavy clouds give something of dramatic to the composition.

Awesome shot Stephen! The extreme ruggedness of the coast is displayed well here, although the size is difficult to comprehend. This has a great near/far composition to give a sense of depth. For me, the best part of this is those clouds hanging low over the cliffs, they really show the forces of nature at work. Excellent!

Excellent photo of this coastal mountain landscape.
There are two elements I like in this photo, 1. the light on the foreground and 2. the cloud coming down off the mountains. The colors and the scenery are beautiful.

Is Ireland as beautifullas you show us or it's just the talent of the photographer?
This is wonderfull Stephen. The foreground light adds contrast agains the clouded sky, and the cliff in the middle of the composition (along with the clouds) leads our eyes, making them travel from the foregroud, to the right and upper left...brilliant. The clouds are awesome too.
Congratulations...we've waited a couple of weeks for another shot of yours, don't keep us waiting so long ;-)
