Photographer's Note
This is an old Kodachrome 64 slide that I scanned using a Nikon coolscan V. This is to give you the flavor of studing a volcano during an eruption.
Lava fountains produced 6,9.10^7 m3 of lava from eruptive fissures during the 1980 eruption of Krafla Volcano (see my other pictures).

beautiful picture..colours are stunning.. (i am sure its much better as a slide..)
the silhouetted human element adds so much to this image..Excellent composition in that regard..

Hello Mdetay, joli cadrage ou la bonne exposition laissant apparaξtre la roche et le personnage en ombres chinoise rendent du mκme coup cette image au ton pastelle sous ce ciel unique de ces rιgions du monde d’un dynamisme impressionnant du fait de cette fumerolle au teinte bien chaude ces le cas de le dire et incomparables, bien amicalement
