Photographer's Note
Taken at the "Silungapollur" pond near Reykjavik.
The Sun is low in the sky, seen slightly over from the left on the hill. It gives this nice yellow cast to the fog. Snow is over everything. It was very cold outside. Therfore a lot of ground fog because of heat difference.
I added just a slight contrast and darkened to the foreground, to add impact.

Yhis picture is very attractive especially amongst thumbnails ; I was however a little disappointed by an impression of noise in the background... I tried a worskhop with some noise filtering.

This is an eye catching composition. I like the colors. Very dramatic composition.

Looks quite cold there. Love the contrast between the blue and pale yellow or orangee fog. It's just after looking at it for some time that noticed that behind this fog there was a rocky mountain slope, I first thought it was the sky. I prefer my first view of it as a sky which gives a sense of immensity in a frozen desert. I find the small tree too much centered and a crop on the right center would place it a little more on the right side.

Brilliant composition, well caught! This image conveys the cold temperature so well I can almost see icicles forming on my monitor. Would have been nice to see this full size.
