Photographer's Note
Ingjaldshσll is a church on the Snζfellsness peninsula, which is in the West part of Iceland. It is believed that this is the oldest concrete church in the world, built in 1903.
A painting in the church shows Christopher Columbus conversing with the local clergyman in 1477 about the voyages of the Icelanders to the west (now America).
Indeed, life stories of Columbus indicate that he visited this part of Iceland in the company of English merchants in order to get information about the earlier Viking voyages to the west.

The colorcontrast is nice and the road i a nice lead in. Could do with a bit of contrast, or maybe the light is a bit on the dull side.

It's a pleasure to wander through Your extraordinary gallery. I like the way You portraying Iceland, a place i'd love to visit one day, so amazing and somehow mysterious.
Here, a brilliant use of the leading road to the church - all against the majestic mount. Good exposure here, and nice effect of the sun-lit center of the frame. Very informative image.

Hi Soni,
Snaefellsness is very special...I love this pic, the point of view and its verticality, it's quite dynamic, the brilliant red, the road. I wonder if the church it should be a little less centered on the image ?
What do you think ?
