Photographer's Note
As I have reach the 5 MB, you can see the large panorama on my web site.
The Strokkur is the small geyser of the site of Geysir which has give the name of geyser. The strokkur gush out every 5 minutes, at an heigh of 20 m. The great Geysir gush at 60 m, but not ofen. The speciallity fo the Strokkur is that it makes a bubble before it explode. This bubble has been presented by Fredrik Arghe in his picture set..
I will show you the complete cycle, from the bubble until the jet. The picture has been taken every 200 ms. But unfortunely the weather was not so good, it was raining all the day. So the colours are not very good.

Very very well done, Jaques. One of Nature's amazing spectacle, captured and documented in a great way. Each of them alone, also all together.
Congratulations, and thanks for the work you put on it, was worth.
I like Fredrik's one too, but your's is more complete

Brilliantly captured - it could not have been easy not knowing exactly when the "bubble" will burst, but you have caught it with such clarity, one could almost imagine being there. I like the method used - it is very appropriate for something like this. Well done.

Very well done Jacques. I never got any good pictures of the Geysirs when i was in Iceland. The way you cauhgt the buble whe it bursted is just great. I also like the human element in the picture. It gives us a feeling of the size.

Cette sιrie de photo me rapelle le spectacle que j'ai vu au Yellowstone avec le Old Faithful Geyser.
L'idιe de le prιsenter en plusieurs photos est trθs bonne. Bien vu, Jacques!

A very good series of photos, Jacques, especially in LP! And you captured it very well despite the weather. The bubble growing - exploding - erupting - cascading (with a nice shade at top contrasting the overcast). The people giving scale and dimension to the event (how the man to the right seems to recoil to the cascade). Indeed a masterpiece - well done!
