Photographer's Note
This picture tries to tell you about the colours and atmpspheres you may taste when walking for days without meeting no human: this was our experience hiking in Hornstrandir, a remote yet fascinating peninsula in NW Iceland. There you may feel alone and prey of the nature. The very strong green is not grass, but moss.

That is a very unusual shaped mountain. I love the menacing look of the cloud, and your shadow adds an interesting self-portrait feel. What a beautiful vast landscape.

Con un sole cosμ basso all'orizzonte l'Islanda θ anche il paese delle ombre. E' una bella idea per una foto, complimenti. One of my illusions is to run with you in Iceland, a n'ice-marathon !
