Photographer's Note
I haven't been posting anything for quite a while. Many things have happened in meantime. So... my 100th post is from a honeymoon-trip to Iceland :)
The photo is taken in Garsdskagi, where the history of lighthouses goes back to 1847. It's near the Gardur fishing village in Reykjanes peninsula. There is an interesting little and personal folk museum, with exhibits ranging from kitchen-aids and cars to collections of eggs.

Hi Lennart,
very beautiful view and effective capture of it. The image is well balanced with the lighthhouse on on side, contrasting with that grass and the sky. Great POV and excellent sharpness treatment. Very nice job!

Ciao. I appreciate your photo: the composition is great, sky dominated though forced by the tall lighthouse; the image is very neat and sharp; the colours are bright and vivid.

Hello Lennart
I like the framing of this superb image. It is sharp, quite exposed. Cheer for this beautiful work.

This is a majestic view Lennart. One of the finest examples of placement of the subject on 1/3rd portion of the frame and keeping some empty space in front.
This shot must be incuded in the Journal of Photogaphy with the chapter"Placement of Subject".
The low POV, the crystal clear sky,the shades of clouds make me feel proud of you.
heariest congratulations for such a masterpiece.

Lennart,
Your composition is great placing the lighthouse to one side and showing the expanse of the landscape in front of it. The lighting and colors are great with excellent shrapness and DOF.

Hi Lennart,
congratulations for this beautiful shot and for the marriage. I got married there + honeymoon in July this year as well:-)
Anyway your composition is superb, as said above, there is such a freshness (not sure this is the right word) to it, I mean one can almost feel the cool air, the clarity and the wideness of it all, thanks to the mix of all the elements of the picture.
TFS
