Photographer's Note
Photograph of the eruption of Strokkar, at Geysir in Iceland.
Strokkar erupts approx. every 7 or 8 minutes, and is followed by a couple of smaller eruptions.
Photograph taken on same day as my other Iceland pictures, which was during an unusually cold spell of weather for the time of year. The bottom of the photo is solid ice - caused by spray for the eruptions freezing.
