Photographer's Note
This is a staircase in an old building inside the castle district in Buda. I used a wide angle lens to get it all in. The monochromatic look, the lights and shadows created by the window light are what attracted me.

You are so right, it is an interesting picture with this light coming from the window and hitting this old stair. The winding of the worked iron handrail is also nice. The window in the staircase is not that nice however, I wonder if you cropped the picture to remove this window if it would not be better or maybe just clone it out. Well done Eva.

Very nice shot lighting is perfect and the architecture as well, the light shade interaction is also very unique! well seen and executed.
