Photographer's Note

In 2011 I saw these two big dog sculptures, made from wood sticks, and thought they are cute, a kind of three dimensional graffiti. Last week I went to an exhibition of modern art in Toronto, where several art installations were on display by local and international artists. I saw totem poles made from paper, silver painted tree branches, etc. This reminded me of the wood stick dogs I saw in Budapest, and checked on the Internet what happened to them. They are gone, no longer there, but the young artist who made them become quite famous. His name is Miklos Gabor Szφke and went on to create bigger and better sculptures from wooden sticks, there are many pictures of his work on the Internet.
