View of a mature olive tree through a whole on a much older tree trunk. Very challenging to photograph through a small opening in the bark and focusing on the distance.
The region of Alexandroupolis is renowned for its groves which produce some of the best olive oils in the world. Some of these olive trees are over 1,500 years old.
