Pteleos Magnesia, or Ftelio as the locals call it, is a different choice for summer holidays away from the usual… It is a small seaside paradise. And if you are in Magnesia, spend a wonderful weekend with appetizers, sea bream and Pagasitikos φόντο in Volos!
The Municipality of Pteleos is a group of settlements in the prefecture of Magnesia with a population of 2,800 inhabitants. Access is by road, or by boat for visitors from the sea. It combines history with nature and all the comforts, since the place has accommodation, bars and restaurants.
If you are a history lover, the area has existed since antiquity and has many historical sites, such as Mycenaean tombs, the Venetian Castle in Pigadi with a wonderful view, well-preserved ruins of an old windmill. There is also the habitat of Lichoura, the naval museum of Achilles and many churches, such as Agios Georgios, from where you can admire the Pagasitic Gulf and Pelion.

I appreciate so much this beautiful view from Peleos in which the pine tree (?) leans toward the vegetal sunshade; together, they are the lone admirers of the outstanding water color!

Lepa plaza sa drvetom i suncobranom, dobro pokazano sa lepim bojama, kontrastom, perspetkivom i uhvacenim trenutkom sa talasima.
Lepo mesto za odmor u hladovini drveta sa lepim pogledom na more i planinu u pozadini.
