Kalispera Ourania,
Yesterday was the biggest moon in two years, closest to earth, next time arounf 09/09 it still would be close and of course - big.
Nice taken with the glow on water, details are sharp and distinct.
A well done photo-technique, I used to do this myself many times(too lazy to carry a big tripod).

Hello Ourania,
You have captured a fantastic atmosphere of late summer when the evenings are once again getting dark. The street-lights can't compete with the bright light of the full moon. I thought you might have needed more than one second to get such a good exposure in this kind of darkness. Maybe you tried many shots to find the perfect alternative.

Hi Ourania,

I have to admit, I was unsure about the amount of negative, dark space with this one until I took a closer look, sat back and soaked up the soothing atmosphere under the moonlight. With so few details, or even light for that matter, it's allowed time and understanding to absorb the moment captured.

It's easy for me to visualize sitting nearby and simply listening to the soft tide as it rolls back and forth while admiring the moons reflection slowly swaying in conjunction. I use the phrase often I'm afraid, but it applies here quite well....a fine example of when less is more! :) The calm vibe has been expressed rather nicely in this moment. Enjoy the new day. You know that the moon very close state to the earth the last week, 384.000km this is very close.
A very nice night picture with gold moon and the same reflections in the water.
Nice contrast picture too.

Hello Ourania,
This is interesting and I like the large dark space with just the few lit areas. The golden reflection of the moon just adds a little more detail and my eyes are drawn to it. Unusual and effective work.
