So many common habits on both sides of the Aegeis !
Thesame you can find in Bodrum or Marmaris..
Nice capture with perfect light management under hard light conditions but the result is perfect.

Hi Danos,

The reflections on the water are assets to the composition. The point of view is showing the details and colors of the tour boat. The surrounding light is giving a good contrast to the colors. Have a nice day.

It is a great capture at dusk, in which the weak light was not an obstacle for creating an extremely attractive composition.
I like the lighting of this beautiful ship and of the houses of the port, that they offer us an elegant contrast with the dark tones of the water and of the clouds on the sky.
The reflections are a fascinating aesthetic complement.

I presume you used a Fresnel lens in front of your flash to concentrate fill light so far; some photographers use those to capture with good clarity wild birds in low flight here in Florida.
That little "helper" you activated creates fine details on pleasure boat.

I see your had is quite steady at 1/20! So you got sufficient light and shiny reflections. Easier to to with a tripod if the water is quiet...!

Hello Dear Danos,

An early summer night, when the breeze on the water must be very pleasant it must be quite an experience to have a brief excursion around the city. The ephemeral light reflection on the water is very soothing and inviting. The night is falling and the lights in the image are going up. The boat is about to set sail full of people on board. This is a detail but I love how you have included a very small portion of the port in the lower right hand corner. I think it is a very effective way to increase the depth the photo possesses. I also like the overall bluish tone; the water and the well textured deep blue sky. The overall effect of this image is very lovely.
