The area around Agios-Nicolaos is really remarkable, as you did Danos.
I once drove and missed the entrance to the town, but we arrived at a fabulous location on the beach ( South-east in direction to town) - and sure looks like a paradise, as this place: A long stretch of fine turquise water "licking-up" clean sea-sand, also the trees in close proximity, where you might want to rest under shaded area.
Magnificet take from higher grounds.

The curve of the beach is sending my eyes toward the mountains which is giving depth to the composition. The point of view is showing the details and colors of the rocks, of the beach and of the trees. The quality of the light is enhancing the beauty of the colors. Have a nice day.

Ah! Danos,

your seascapes are always superb and more so when you capture them with this dramatic sky. This seems to be one of the most beautiful beaches of Crete and surely a place where I'd live to go! We have much the same tastes for marine places!
Very well captured and framed, it reminds me of some places here in Sardinia.

What a magnificent coastline. It is very untouched and very rugged. The rock formations are beaitiful and you did well to include it in the foreground as it gives texture and also a sense of height to your photo. Lovely saturated colours and the sky combines well with the scenery to make a wondeful perspective.

Quando vedo questi bei posti e colori cupi di meteo sfavorevole penso che il mare si sia gonfiando come una torta.
Significativo il ricciolo do "onda" sulla riva ...segno che il vento va "girando"

Καταπληκτική φωτογραφία Δανέ!
Απίστευτο το Βάι όπως και η υπόλοιπη Κρήτη..Εδώ το στοιχείο που ξεχωρίζω είναι ο δραματικός-άκρως εντυπωσιακός ουρανός σε αντίθεση με τα γαλαζοπράσινα νερά..

This truly stunning composition is a favorite for me. The sharp detail of the golden rock in the foreground, the feathery palms on the curve of beach, the amazing shades of blue in the sea and that glorious sweep of clouds around a circle of blue are all captured with perfect light management and sharpness.

Hello Danos,

This framing is very Danos-esque, very dynamic. the focus is on the beach, but the what's surround the beach is just as important in your image. I like the big bowlder in the foreground which is the starting point of this image. From there we gradually descend towards where the water is. As if I am there and trying to find my way down to the beach. Low hanging clouds add another dramatic effect to your photo. I like the photo very much, it's a very complex composition well under control. Thank you Danos for the image.

Το μεγαλείο της Φύσης. Αυτή η παραλία είναι ένας παράδεισος. Τα γαλαζοπράσινα νερά, οι φοίνικες διπλά στην παραλία και η αμμώδης παραλία δημιουργούν ένα ειδυλλιακό μέρος. Ο ουρανός απλά τελειοποιεί την εικόνα.
