Late afternoon sun catches the warm tones of Pothia Town’s main square buildings. The little town of Pothia (also called Kalymnos) is the capital of the island of Kalymnos and its main port. Pothia town itself is a colourful and lively, if noisy, place built in an amphitheatre around the port. At the centre is a complex of public buildings sometimes described as a cross between a fortress and a palace - with town hall, police, customs and various official departments.

lovely the warm light that falling on the buildings of Kalymnos's capital. I like the clarity and the sharpness of the scenery as the light management.The colourful boats complete the image.Well done.

The lighting here is outstanding! The angled lighting creates nice warm colors and hues throughout the scene. The angle of the shot works well adding depth for the scene.

Hello Brian,
Very beautiful light here. It creates a nice atmosphere with the red brown mountains and the many houses on the background but specially with that warm yellow facade and the red dome of those public buildings on the foreground.
