Taken with a canon AE1 Program with a 28-70mm zoom lens. It is the main harbour area of the island of Mykonos, it was late evening & the sun was setting.

Hello Wilson! Very nice shot you are sharing with us here! The water soaked up the sunset colors for a dramatic effect. Very nice exposure here to get the nice saturated colors while keeping some detail in the boats.

There is a filtered quality to this sunset, but evidently you didn't use a filter. It is a spectacular image, however, in Mykonos, one of my favorite islands in the Aegean. If you go visit Santorini, that might just be even more spectacular as a photographer's paradise. Regards,

Hi Wilson,
I don't know what it is about sunsets but many never receive due recognition on TE. I like this one for two main reasons; the tones are soft and warm and the sun is in view and not burnt out. It appears from your note that you didn't use a filter so the effect is even more impressive. As for everything else; the pov is good, I like the figure sitting on the wall and the effect on the water is very special, almost abstract. A fine capture, well done.

Hi Wilson,
Great late evening shot. I love the sun setting on these boats with their sails lowered and waiting for the morning sun to take them away again. Very warm colors and soft details to this beauty.

I like the way everything seems to be orange in this photo, even the ships.
Furthermore, it΄s amazing how you got this "brightness" ... I think it must have been rather dark then.

Hi Wilson, A fine very moody composition with excellent placement of the setting sun behind the masts of these vessel. The colour looks like liquid gold on fancy glassware. Beautiful ambiance and serenity. TFS. Murray.
