Photographer's Note
The joint churches of Panaghia Portiani and Aghios Haralambos in Zefyria, an inland town on the island of Milos.
Zefyria used to be a prosperous town with many churches. Following an eartquake in the 2nd half of the 18th century, the town was abandoned as poisnous gases issued from the ground, causing medical problems for the inhabitants. Today, the town is inhabited again, with these two churches glued to one another sitting in the middle of it. The feast day is 15 August - Assumption, and the festival held in this church is one of the largest on the island.
Glad to be back after a bit of a break caused by work and other matters. Missed my TE family!

Dobry Den Dasha,
Nice to see you post again ! This image is not new but full of sun and greek details, actually it features colors and elements of the greek flag. Good spot on exposure to deliver a luminous impression, almost need sunglasses to look at it. The least I could do to celebrate your return was to post a czech image :-)
Have a nice day JY

Hallo dear Dasha, so good to see you here! And what a beautiful photo to celebrate your return with. I love the close-up, the domes have a beautiful symmetry. And they contrast wonderfully against the blue sky. TFS and I hope to see you again here soon. Hugs, Lisa

Very nice touch with this set of domes, their varied volumes and forms create a charming image with nice contrast in color between white and blue, bright and cheerful colors.

Hi Dasha,
Nice to see you back. I see you have visited Milos 3 years ago... I intend to go to the Cyclades next may so I'm particularly interested by shots of Greece. I don't know yet exactly which islands I will visit, probably the classic Santorini and Mykonos and then perhaps Milos, Amorgos or Tinos.
I like this association white & blue. The quality is perfect and allows us to appreciate all the curves. Perfect exposition. Very well done.
Have a nice week.
