I like the conversion to b&w which gives harmony between the white cat fur and the the blond hair of the young woman

Hello Ourania,

Why these nice picture in black and white, I think that in colour also very nice would are with the cat and lady.
My family are all cat friends, but I can not even keep cats, through the dove by fancier nearby.

The cat closed his eyes while he was petted, and probably was groaning in pleasure - as cats do.
Beautiful white cat spotted on the street, and approached by a lady who probably just return from the beach... this assumption made as saw the sun-marks of her bathing suit around her neck(guessing...).

magnificent shot to commemorate the World Animal Day!
I like your high POV,well considered close-up and conversion into B&W,which in my opinion brings out much better the essence of the scene.
Your image transmits well this special,lovely feeling of the scene.

PS.I΄ve just came back from Greece(was really magnificent).But I΄ve also seen many stray dogs and cats looking for food and some attention from people.Sad and moving to see so many of them.It΄s I think a different side of economy crisis we do not think in the first line.

Good tonal range and downward pov in this superb b&w shot of the woman affectionately petting the cat. I like the graphism and tight framing. No oe in the highlights and excellent use of a shallow dof with good sharpness. The woman's multifaceted watch is interesting. Tfs!

Hi Ourania ,
Nice post today to commemorate world animal day. I will be commemorating it by paying a very large veterinary bill I received through the mail this morning. So used to your beautiful colours of Greece in your photos this B&W is something different but works very well. The pure white fur of the kitten contrasts sharply against the textured grey concrete step.

Ουρανία, μα τι όμορφη και αυθεντική σύνθεση!!σκηνές πού βλέπουμε στήν καθημερινότητα και πολλές φορές τίς χάνουμε γιατί δεν έχουμε τήν μηχανή μας κοντά...η στιγμή δεν χάθηκε αυτήν τήν φορά, το μαυρόασπρο τήε δίνει χάρη και προσθέτει στήν ομορφιά τή απλότητας της..καλήσου μέρα σ' ευχαιστω πολύ για τα καλά σου λόγια!!
