Photographer's Note

Mycenae citadel is located at the top of the hill, its area covers 30,000 m2. It is surrounded by cyclopean walls, located directly on the rock. They were five to over eight meters high. The period of the greatest prosperity of the citadel was 1400-1100 BC.

In my photo you can see how many tourists want to see the ruins of Mycenae.

Cyclopean wall - constructed without mortar, of gigantic blocks of stone mostly unworked or roughly worked.
