Some notes : In 1880, Harilaos Trikoupis became Prime Minister of Greece. Born in Messolonghi, one of the main cities on the North coast of the Corinth Gulf strait, he had the vision of a bridge joining the people from Achaia (Peloponnese) and Etoloakarnania (North Western Greece). The bridge project was discussed at the Greek parliament at the end of the 19th century. However such a project was not technically feasible until the late 20th century and it was one hundred years later that the Greek State decided to invite tenders for building a fixed link on the Corinth Gulf strait.

Great shot! Beatufil combine of blue and white-grey colours, good compo and perspective. As for me I'd crop the bottom to cut a grass in front of sea but besides the picture is excellent. TFS, regards. Denis.

This is an excellent perspective: the line is totally straight and then the bridge seem to dive on the right of the photo.
The vegetation on the left on the foreground could be cloned out, or cropped out. I think the problem is we see too little of it, so it would be better not seeing anything, in my opinion.

Βλέπω μπαίνεις τάχιστα στο νόημα και μας παρουσιάζεις εξαιρετικές φωτογραφίες. Η γέφυρα αυτή είναι όντως ένα θέμα εξαιρετικό στο οποίο μπορείς να αποδώσεις τα μέγιστα τόσο από θέμα έμπνευσης όσο και από θέμα εξοπλισμού.
Τα χρώματα είναι εξαιρετικά (φανταστικό το μπλε χρώμα) και ο φωτισμός ο κατάλληλος. Το βάθος εξαιρετικό. Πολύ καλός!

Ioannis, a wonderful photo!
What amazed me, is so many bridge elements are supported by steel ropes... Usually, there is only one central column with such ropes in every bridge. Here, there are several such central columns.. unusual construction.
