Fisherman checking his pots for king prawns and lobster and maybe an octopus or two in Irean a very small village and harbour on the southwest coast of Samos. The mountains in the background are the Turkish mainland.
I liked the soft colours and the light of the early morning in this one.Hope you do too.

Hello Marion - I see you are also one who likes to be up an about in the mornings too. I love being able to walk about before the world wakes up, the atmosphere is always one of peace and there is nothing nicer than seeing a new day dawn. This shot captures that feeling very well. The light is gentle and colours attractive. Composition-wise, it is a pity that there is not much space between the small boat and the frames edge and the sky is a tiny bit grainy but nothing that distracts from the lovely feel of the shot. That's really beautiful.. I love it too. The colour of the sea, the position of the boat, and the background of the mountains made a wonderful picture all together. Only one thing.. is that the colour noise at the sky?I'm not sure if you could get rid of them easily...
