Hello Danos,

It's a pity that we can't have audio, too, for I'm sure there would be a lot of noise connected to your photograph!
You have captured this as I like it. The water is sharp and splashing as it cascades down the cliff face. A slow shutter speed would have lost all this exciting detail!
The people are important as they immediately add scale and give the waterfall a greater stature.

By the way a city in Eastern Turkey (close to the Syrian border) Urfa, had also the name Edessa in the antiquity.
