I really like this calm scene, but more than anything I like how you have framed the subject of your photo do ll by using the calm autumn tones of these trees. The softly rippling water looks really great and there is a wondful sense of calm and peace. A perfect picture to see after a really busy week in work.

The trees are helping to frame the scene. The point of view is showing the details of the boat. The wideness of the lake is giving depth to the composition. The light has agood effect on the colors. Have a nice day.

You are right, this is a calm scene.
I like how you have used the f/g for immediate interest and to anchor the scene, whilst the two trees frame the fisherman, who is the focal interest in the shot.
The colours are perfect and indicative of the time of year.

Winter ambience well collected, Danos.

I love how you framed the boat and the beautiful surroundings of the lake, between the trunks of two trees, while its branches provide a spectacular graphics on top of the image.

I like very much this composition with hazy colours, it has a special peaceful mood. You framed perfectly the man in the boat between the two trees. The soft BG direct your eyes right to the boat.
