Ja nisam putovao za svojih pola veka ivota, ali mi je veliku radost pričinila mogućnost za putovanje na Svetu Goru, U Grčkoj na Atosu, gde sam obiao najveću Srpsku svetinju manastir Hilandar.
Na ovom putovanju sam načinio mnogo lepih fotografija.
Počeću sa fotografijama, koje sam načinio u Uranopoliu gde smo čekali trajekt za Svetu Goru.

I have not traveled in my half a century of life, but the opportunity to travel to Mount Athos, Greece, and Athos, where I visited the largest Serbian holy monastery, Hilandar, gave me great joy.
I made many beautiful photos during this trip.
I'll start with the photos I took in Ouranoupoli where we were waiting for a ferry to Mount Athos.

The weather didn't look perfect, but the rather grey sky enhances the strong effect of the red boats. They provide a perfect foreground to your composition, which also has a nice view across the sea.

Your notes accentuate the impression than I gained from the photograph, that of waiting. These boats, strongly placed in the frame, appear to be waiting, waiting for better weather, as the clouds appear quite ominous.

Bonjour Sasha,
Les barques sur le rivage c'est toujours gagnant surtout lorsqu'elles portent d'aussi jolies couleurs. Trθs dommage pour le temps gris qui ιteint un peu les choses.

Good for you to travel here, we should all make time to travel and see other places at some point in our lives :)
The diffused lighting works well here, not too bright, not too dark. lots of depth in the clouds, and I like the greek writing on the red boat :) nice shot
