Photographer's Note

This is the southeast view of the top of the Tower of Winds, which you can see at the edge of the Roman Agora of Athens (if you want to read more about the Tower of Winds-"Aerides" in Greek, check the note of my "Winds" of the Acropolis photo). Here you see 2 of the 8 winds represented around the monument, Evros (scirroco-SE)and Apiliotis (levante-E).

***ABOUT THE PHOTO***
Friends who have seen this photo, thought that it was some kind of HDR Method, or two diferent photos put together. There's no such thing. I metered the exposure in the sky, in fact I underexposed according to the sky to have more saturated colours and greater contrast. Then, where did the light on the tower came from? I used my powerful external flash, a Canon 580 EX-II, whose light power I increased manually by 3 stop (+ 3EV), that's how I got some kind of balance in the light.
