Wondefull panaromic shot of the Akropolis. Quite different from standart "postcard" shots of Akropolis.

A classic view but really well done, this night version is fascinating and is at the level of your best images, Hercules, compliments, also to the large version that is really good.

Another pin sharp, crystal clear gem from you, Hercules. I picture you sleeping all day and roaming about the streets of Greek cities at the blue hour, equipped with a tripod. As I said before, the ministry of tourism should appoint you as the official photographer.

Nice one, the sky has great colors at this hour and all the great monuments of Athens are present and well lighted. We don't need the moon I guess...

You make me happy with this large view of a place, may be the 1st for me in the Earth. I spent my beautifulst holidays there and I knew so wonderful people. Greek people is the best, like napolitani, with a heart so big....

Hello Hercules,
this is a super shot! all the onnuments are worth by themselves a photo but having them on a single panoramic photo is just too good.
The assemblage, exposure and details are just great. I'm sorry but I cannot see anything ugly here maybe I don't know enough about Athens, but here nothing is ugly IMO, maybe the city by itself isn't as nice as this view.

Me encanta la foto.

Veo la foto y empiezo a hacer planes para visitar otra vez Atenas (lo que tiene poder volar gratis, ¿no?).
Puede que para octubre, para poder así organizarlo mejor.

En cualquier caso, apunto Atenas como destino a repetir antes de acabar el año... por cierto, hoy he estado en París (vengo de ahí).

Beautiful shot of this classic scene and an interesting pov you chose. Yeas ago, many years ago when I sshot a similar version I am sure I was further to the right, looking up at the long wall. Anyway, great shot, good color and detail, well seen and captured.

This is a truly stunning panorama, making the most of the floodlights to give an unbroken strip of light across the picture.
Waiting for the moon can be frustrating. I once waited a long long time and then just as she appeared in a good place.....
a BIG truck parked in front of me! Others will have similar stories I am sure.
Moon or no moon you have a great shot here.

otra vez nos maravillas con tu buen hacer en las tomas nocturnas, a la hora azul, que realizas con gran maestría. Y esta vez en formato panorámico, con una versión ancha espectacular.
La iluminación de estos monumentos patrimonio de la humanidad, contribuye a realzar aún más su belleza, la luz y las sombras le dan vida, y su contraste con el cielo aún azul es magnífico.

Such is the life of a photographer. There is the idea of a composition and you have to wait for the right moment to get it. Finally you think that the Gods in the Olymp are favourable and you do the long walk, just to get dissapointed that you did some miscalculations. Still, you got a stunning shot. A very long time ago I stood up at Filopappou myself to get a 5am sunrise shot. I stood there in amazement of the beauty of the place and your shot gives that feeling back.
Hercules, please do me a favor and recalculate the positioning of the moon and try it once more from an appropriate POV!

I have a thing with Acropolis per se and its photos. This is the best photo I have ever seen especially a night one. I added it to a group theme I have created, I hope you don't mind. I love night photos and I would love you to give me some tips on how to do it best!
