Photographer's Note
These cranes were situated in Berlin. To be precisely, East Berlin. Since the wall collapsed a lot of new buildings have been or are being built to become more 'westernized'. I just liked the colourful light decoration on the cranes and the directions they are pointing to.

I like the concept, and the notes too that indicate the historical context of the image. I'd like the photo even more with better focus - I don't know if this is a digital shot or a film scan, so if it's the latter maybe the problem is in the scanning process rather than the original.

My guess is that this shot would have been highly benefitting the usage of a tripod or just any place to hold your camera against or to place it on. The diagonals are all lightened and form a interesting composition.

great shot! i have visited Berlin last year and probabbly in the place of this photo now there are a lot of palace LOL
