Photographer's Note
Here I show you a detail of the double church St. Clemens in Bonn-Schwarzrheindorf which I posted here yesterday (please read here more about the building). It was totally renovated at the end of the 20th century. The restorers found remnants of the Middle Age colours at the facade of the church and they managed to find out the old recipes. Now this most impressive church with the utmost probability has it's medieval appearance again.
(Another very colourful Romanesque medieval church is the Cathedral of Limburg)
I've seen many churches in my life but this one is breathtaking - in several aspects - and it's really worth a visit.

Frank,
Dieter

Truly fabulous colours and details in this architectural detail shot. The warmth of the colours suggests a much warmer climate than I would expect in Germany in December, thanks to your use of the sunlight.

Happy new year Frank,
Beautiful.It's very colourful and bright.
If the original colour was really like this, the medieval people should be more lively and vivid than I had imagined. (Yes, It's almost "modern" for me!).
Thank you for your very intersting note.
