RάDESHEIM AM RHEIN is a German winemaking town in the Rhine Gorge, and part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site in this region.

It is known for its local whine and there are lots of places to sample it.

Rϋdesheim is also home to the rather quirky Siegfrieds Mechanisches Musikkabinett, a museum for mechanical musical instruments, which we absolutely adored!

The BOOSENBURG is a lowland castle in Rόdesheim am Rhein, dating back to the 12th century. It is locally known as Oberburg (upper castle) in relation to the near and slightly lower Brφmserburg.

The castle has belonged to a winery, Weinkellerei Carl Jung, from 1938. The musical family has arranged several chamber and jazz music concerts in their residence.

It was (is) not really open for public, so this was shot from the the gate at the streetside.
