Nothing special, just regards from Berlin.rnI came today in the afternoon to Berlin. I went for a walk but the weather was rather unpleasant. I hoped to see inside Reichstag, but it was closed. Then I went walking along Unter den Linden and by metro to see this iconic church.rnAt six o'clock it was already dark. In Berlin there are more signs of spring. I saw the flowering forsythias.

Ciao Malgo,I thought you were going to Singapore, then I misunderstood. So have a good trip to Germany, watch out for the virus, I don't think the situation is better there than in Italy, the difference is made by the numbers of checks that have been made, thousands in Italy and a few hundred in Germany and France. The photo is a little dark but it couldn't have been better with this light.Have a nice evening! Luciano

Hello Malgo,
It's not the photo I had expected for your first posting after leaving Warsaw, but it's a very special church which I for some reasons don't have in my own gallery. I think there have been too many tourists all around it the times I have seen it. I probably thought they would spoil a photo. You didn't have that problem here. The early darkness at 6 PM gives it a dramatic look, and the trees frame the view well.

Zapewne to tylko krotki przystanek w drodze do.... :)
Do Reichstagu dobrze jest zapisac sie przez internet - ale faktycznie czasem odwoluja zwiedzanie - w koncu to miejsce pracy.
Ta katedra w centrum robi wrazenie...

Berlin. Where else on this trip? We're due in Germany (Hamburg, Lubeck, Hanover and Berlin) in early May - we're just hoping that the corona virus doesn't take off badly there.
Yes - a little dark, due I guess the the weather. Almost a silhouette.

That's an awesome grand old lady - probably one of the few buildings left standing after the second world war. Lovely mix of colour at blue hour with just enough detail and clarity. The addition of motion blur from the moving vehicles adds lot of life and dynamism. It's beautiful and a pleasure to view. Congrats

Missed this one. And I also missed seeing this ruined cathedral when I was in Berlin, although I did see something similar in Hamburg. A nice contrast between the old and the new, and the inclement weather has kept distracting crowds of pedestrians away, giving a melancholy mood in keeping with this reminder of WWII. Tfs!

this church in ruins ever attracted me when I was a boy and I want to know it some day. nice contrast of the old and new architecture and excellent use of the trees around. despite the weather it is a nice image.
