Trier: Most Romantic Christmas Market Setting Worldwide!
Now in its 40th year, the Trier Christmas Market will again be one of the loveliest in all of Germany. Set on the medieval Main Market and in front of the imposing backdrop of Trier Cathedral, the 95 attractively decorated booths offer a fitting framework for this wonderful event.
For the first time, the program for the entire family changes almost daily – from historical puppet theater to star tenor and songsmiths. The Trier Christmas Market is often described by travel organizers as being “romantic with wonderful ambience.” Germany’s only Mulled Wine Queen Sarah Schmitt is looking forward to the international guests in Trier. A large selection with delicious specialties such as the “Original Moselle Vintner Mulled Wine” and festive arts and crafts attracts visitors from the world over.

Hello Costantino,
It's only one month to Christmas, so it's high time to start the shopping hysteria. I am not too keen on Christmas and the commercialism surrounding it, but I like this photo which nicely combines fine buildings, decorated trees and people.

Christmas markets are being opened all around Europe again at the moment. I really like the combination with the many Christmas trees and large yellow stars and the faηades and church tower here, you put it all really well into the composition.

The Christmas trees create an excellent sense of perspective and a fine link with the b/g buildings, where the gold of the stars links very nicely with the gold on the clock tower.

Dear friend, you captured very well the Christmas market atmosphere in Trier. The wooden hut housing the stands are surmonted by a star and decorated with artificial holly. The crowd gathers in that place to find a gift for their relatives. Fine colors, good image quality, instructive photo note, regards.

I know what you mean: German Christmas markets are so charming to visit.
Here of course I regret that you didn't show more of the interesting building.
Other people would regret that you didn't include people on the street.
But I see your point you have tried to focus on the repeated motif of the star and the decorations.
The pattern is well emphasized here,

The big yellow stars on top of the Christmas trees are the eye-catchers ! They lead the eye diagonally along the crowded street onto the traditional buildings in the background.
