Photographer's Note
This building, nearly looking like a castle - is "Alexander Kφnig Research Museum" in Bonn. It is a natural history and zoological research museum and it was named after Alexander Kφnig, who donated his collection of specimens to the institution. The museum was opened in 1934 and is affiliated with the University of Bonn.
After World War II the museum building, which was left largely intact by the war, was the only representative and large assembly hall available in Bonn, now capital of West Germany. This was the reason why the museum was used by the Parlamentarischer Rat (parliamentary council), the predecessor to the West German Parliament, for its opening session on September 1, 1948. A funny detail: during the sessions the prepared giraffes which stood in the assembly hall were enshrouded because it wasn't possible to remove them.
At this time plans were made to use the museum building as the Chancellor's office (in German: Bundeskanzleramt), but it was eventually only used for two months by the new chancellor Konrad Adenauer in 1949.
Today it's a really worth-visiting museum with about 7 million of nature study preparations. You can read more about it HERE.
In workshop you can see a closer view of the entrance.

Hello Frank,
A good perspective on this impressive building. The detail is well rendered with good colours and sharpness. I like the reflections in the windows. Greetings from a bright and pleasantly mild Charente-Maritime.

Frank,
This is a nice angular view of this large building. The angle of the shot gives the photo depth and direction. The lighting and colors are great and the photo has nice sharpness.

Good morning again, Frank.
Yes, definitely a building that looks more like a palace than a museum. Trgo architecture of the building presents a great job. It is not so severe, though it might seem. Referring to some classical models retained some elements of lightness. Beautiful weather meant that sky blue wonderful museum. The sky can be seen also in the many windows of the building. It is these flashes of blue light in the glass windows of great inspiring shady wall of the building.
The whole is shown in a nice run.
Have a nice day,
Jurek
